Biography

James Anderson comes from a diverse background of experience and leadership, blending the skills sets of creativity and business with an entrepreneur’s eye.

He served for 8 years as the CEO of New Canaan Society, often described as “Young Life for professional men”. NCS is a national network of 26,000 men, in 70+ chapters across 26 states and 3 countries.

James spent 10 years selling luxury real estate and founded Pacific Luxury Group, a high-end residential real estate firm in Malibu, CA. He earned Quadruple Platinum Sales Award in 4 consecutive years, as well as national awards from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing for innovative marketing. Anderson is a founding partner of the Malibu/Pacific Palisades office of Keller Williams.

In his early career, James was the Director of Operations for Lakeshore Entertainment, based at Paramount Pictures, James was involved in many films, including Runaway Bride, and Million Dollar Baby. James left Lakeshore after optioning scripts to Paramount and New Line Cinema, and later directed Hometown Legend, a $2 million dollar film sold to Warner Brothers.

James graduated from Biola University and also attended USC Film School in Los Angeles, studying Screenwriting, Film Directing, and Marketing. He and his wife Carrie have been married for 25 years and have 2 daughters, Charlie Mae (15) and Lucy (14).

James is a self-identified golf addict, loves fly-fishing in Colorado, oil painting and reads…a lot.
